Minutes:

Insufficient parking spaces

Ahmed Suroor talked about the problems and solutions (he thinks that making wider spaces for the parking can help students come to the class early. Mohammed Ahmed said they have to erase some green places to provide parking. A lot of student’s comesto the college with ahuge cars, like GMC trucks, and these cars take a big space.

Illegal parking positions

Ahmed Suroor said the consequences should be taken to people who park illegally, like tickets and warnings. Eissa Tayib said we should have better security and better consequences.

Not enough space to park

Ahmed Suroor said we should remove some green areas to make wider parking spaces so more parking can be placed. Mohammed Ahmed said they have to erase some green places to provide parking. A lot of students come to the college with huge cars and this car takes a big space.

Very high pavements

Ahmed Suroor said the pavements are very high and they take a lot of space causing fewer parking spaces. Eissa Tayib said they should be removed and barriers should be placed to take less space.

Many oversized humps causing congestion

Ahmed Suroor said the humps are very unnecessary and oversized because it takes time going over them and some cars cannot go over them. Ahmed Abdulkareem said the humps cause the cars to flow slowly causing congestion.

No shade for the cars

Ahmed Abdulkareem said that shade for the cars is critical; because of the heat cars might break down and may get too hot to drive. Ahmed Suroor agreed and thinks the shade would be better for heat problems in the car.

Making better parking spaces would help in the studies of the students causing them to arrive to class on time; entering and exiting the parking would be easier and illegal parking would be banned and consequences will be provided; the humps would be reduced causing easier flow and better parking abilities.

In conclusion, we discussed with mister Headly an important issue it was parking’s in the college, after that we talked about the causes of the main problem and we put some solutions.

-we need wider parking

-its good if the college put for us shade for the cars

- The pavements are highs, we need a lower one

- The high humps is the most important problem for the college students
